Murals

I have always liked to paint big. In 1984, warbird collector Bob Pond approached me about painting him a very large painting of a Corsair landing on an aircraft carrier. It would be 19 feet tall X 55 feet long. I jumped at the chance. It is now at the Palm Springs Air Museum. From that sprang the Tuskegee Airmen Mural that was initially at LAX, then moved for permanent display to the Palm Springs Air Museum. As a direct result of that, I was commissioned by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library to do their “History of the Flying White House” mural that resides in their Air Force One Pavilion. It is 12 feet high by 120 feet wide. In the meantime, I have painted quite a few extremely large paintings.
