Air Force One

Stan has had a 20+ year association with the Presidential Airlift Group and Air Force One. He has found every one of them to be fantastic people—extremely focused on the mission of flying the President in the style that is expected and in the safest way possible.

Over the years, Stan and his wife, Joan, have been invited to participate in many ceremonies involving the two giant VC-25A (Boeing 747) aircraft. They always find themselves in awe of the aircraft and the people who maintain and crew them. The planes may be 35 years old, but they are beautiful!

One project Stan completed in the Air Force One Complex is a mural titled “History of Air Force One,” directly inspired by his mural of Air Force One at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.
