Movie “Top Gun: Maverick” Features Stan’s Painting

44 minutes into the 2022 hit movie Top Gun: Maverick, there is a scene where Maverick and Adm. “Warlock” Bates come walking around the corner after Maverick has been chewed out (again) by Adm. “Cyclone” Simpson. Directly on the wall behind them is Stan’s painting honoring the “Centennial of US Naval Aviation”.

This is actually a digital copy of Stan’s painting that is in the collection of the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.

It was quite an honor for Stan to have his painting appear in the top movie of 2022!
