I was born loving aviation. I spent quite a bit of my childhood drawing airplanes and watching the old airplane movies such as “Dawn Patrol”, “30 Seconds over Tokyo”, and “Air Force”. In the mid-sixties, I was a fledgling pilot and a beginning artist all at the same time. In 1977, both things came together in my life with my first airplane painting. That painting launched the most significant party of my career, aviation art. I absolutely love doing paintings of airplane of all kinds. I have been asked, “What is your favorite airplane?”. It tends to be the one that I am currently painting.
